In my opinion, the rise of political intolerance in Kenya poses a significant threat to our democracy, and the current legal framework is inadequate to address the problem. By enacting stricter laws, increasing penalties for offenders, and promoting civic education, we can create a more inclusive and tolerant political environment. It is essential that we take these steps to protect the democratic rights of all Kenyans and ensure that political discourse remains respectful and constructive.
