In my opinion, while Kenya’s tech industry is rapidly evolving, there is still much work to be done to ensure that women have equal opportunities to contribute to and benefit from this growth. Women in tech face unique challenges that require targeted solutions, such as eliminating gender biases, improving access to funding, and enhancing representation in leadership roles. By actively addressing these issues, Kenya can create a more inclusive tech ecosystem where women can thrive and drive innovation. Embracing gender diversity not only fosters a more equitable industry but also leverages the full range of talent and perspectives necessary for technological advancement.
