In my opinion, the efforts of the Kenyan diaspora to preserve their culture abroad are admirable and essential for maintaining a sense of identity. However, there is a delicate balance to be struck between preservation and adaptation. While it is crucial to hold on to cultural traditions, there is also value in embracing aspects of the cultures in which diaspora members find themselves. This blending of cultures can lead to a richer, more diverse cultural experience that enhances the Kenyan identity on a global scale.
