In my opinion, the challenges facing Kenya’s manufacturing sector are significant but not insurmountable. By addressing infrastructure deficiencies, reducing production costs, streamlining regulations, investing in workforce development, protecting local industries, and fostering innovation, Kenya can revitalize its manufacturing sector. The benefits of a robust manufacturing industry extend beyond economic growth; they include job creation, technological advancement, and increased self-sufficiency.
