In my opinion, addressing the impact of climate change on Kenya’s agriculture requires a multifaceted approach. It’s not just about reacting to the current challenges but also about proactively preparing for future uncertainties. We need to invest in research and development, support local farmers with resources and training, and foster collaborations between the government, private sector, and civil society.We also need to advocate for policies that address climate change comprehensively. This includes supporting climate-resilient agriculture, enhancing disaster preparedness, and promoting sustainable land management practices.
