How to Create A Micro Service in WriteMinds Kenya
What is a MICROSERVICE?
A Microservice is that service you wish to offer your customer. It can be a simple as writing an article. It can also be as complex as coding an application. Just think of something that you can write for clients.
To create a microservice, follow steps below:
Step 1: On top middle section, above the main menu, locate where its written Sell your Microservice and get paid, click the + sign to add your service.
It will open to a page where you will be required to choose your pricing plan. Please note that you will be required to make a onetime fee for the service you wish to let us send you clients to purchase. By subscribing with a fee, you help pull resources to bring customers to this website. These are the customers who will be buying for you. If you pay Ksh 500, you will be allowed to promote one service. If you are a writer for instance, you can only get people to buy your article writing service only. If you wish to sell more than one service, you can choose other pricing plans.
POINT TO NOTE:
Its advisable to try your luck in many services. You can be a good writer, as well as a cook, event organizer, designer, voiceover artist, etc.
Do not limit yourself by choosing one service.
STEP 2: This is where you let people know of your service. Come up with a catchy service name. Think of what you can offer. As a writer, you can create a service name like I can do a 300 words article in 24 hours at Ksh 500.
Please go through some samples of descriptions https://writeminds.co.ke/mjob_post/
Just check categories on your left, and view corresponding service names and descriptions done by other users
STEP 3: Indicate Price. This is how much you will be charging for the service name described under Step 2.
Step 4: Indicate Time of delivery. Let your customer know the number of days it will take to complete a service. You can maybe have 2 or 3 services. In one service, you can offer higher price for a few number of days completion. In another service, you can prolong completion time, and lower the price. For instance, If you are an article writer, you can have a gig like, I can do a 1000 words with 24 hours at Ksh 2000. In another service, you can offer a gig like I can do a 1000 words article in 4 days at Ksh 1000.
Step 5: Select Category. Please make sure that you select category relevant to your skills. We advertise users offering specific services.
Step 6: Have an appealing description. What is it about your service? What are you promising your customers? Describe your service as much as can!
Step 7: Upload feature Image (Optional but important. ). We encourage you to upload something related to your service. As a writer, upload an image to advertise your services. If you don’t have an image ready, you can visit https://pixabay.com/ and look for an image related to your keyword. If you do event management, for instance, insert the keyword event management, and click search. Simply click the image you get, download it for free, save it in your computer, and upload it here.
Step 6: Upload Video (Optional but important). Clients can buy your service without a video, but it’s important to have it to explain your service more. You will need to create a youtube channel. We can help you do this if you are publishing more than 3 services.
Step 7: Include extra services(optional but Important). Charge clients more for other extra services they will need in addition to your basic service. For instance, if your microservice is ‘you can do a 1000 words article at Ksh 1000), extra services may include delivering this in 4 hours at Ksh 500 more and posting to wordpress at Ksh 500 more. This means that for a microservice costing Ksh 1000, a client can end up paying Ksh 2000 because of additional extras. Please be creative to make good money out of your gig.
Step 8: Include tags. Tags are words people can use on site to get your service. If you are a writer, a client may use keywords like writer, writing, blog, content writer, article writer, article rewriting, etc to get your profile. Please make sure you use tags that will define your service.
Step 9: Include opening message. This is the message that a customer will see first in the order details. Please make it short. It could be something like below:
“Hi, thanks for getting in touch. This is John Kamau. I will be happy to help. Please let me know how I can help you”
Step 10: Save your gig. Clicking Save is same as submitting your gig. We shall review your gig and approve it after receiving payment for your package. If you paid Ksh 500 for instance, we shall only approve one service for this amount. If you had earlier paid Ksh 1000, after the first microservice, you shall still be entitled to publish 9 more. Please note that the more the microservices you publish, the higher the chances of you getting money from different revenue streams.
