In my opinion, the role of youth in protecting Kenya’s environment is both impactful and indispensable. The enthusiasm and creativity of young people are powerful assets in the fight against environmental degradation. Their involvement is not only beneficial but necessary for the development and implementation of effective environmental solutions. By supporting and empowering the youth, Kenya can harness their potential to create a more sustainable and resilient environment. It is imperative for all sectors of society—government, businesses, and communities—to recognize and invest in the contributions of young people, ensuring they have the resources, platforms, and encouragement needed to lead the charge for a greener Kenya.
