In my opinion, Kenya urgently needs stronger environmental laws to address the growing environmental crises and ensure sustainable development. While current regulations provide a foundation, they fall short in effectively tackling the scale and complexity of modern environmental challenges. By implementing more rigorous laws and enforcement mechanisms, Kenya can better protect its natural resources, safeguard public health, and promote sustainable economic growth. It’s time for policymakers, businesses, and citizens to come together and advocate for stronger environmental protections that will secure a healthier and more sustainable future for all Kenyans.
