In my opinion, the persistence of extrajudicial killings in Kenya is a clear indication that the country’s security apparatus is deeply flawed. These acts of violence reflect a systemic issue where power is abused, and accountability is virtually nonexistent. For Kenya to move forward as a nation that respects human rights, it must address these deep-seated problems within its security forces.
