In my opinion, while urbanization is inevitable and brings many benefits, it is crucial that we do not let it completely erase the cultural practices that define our rural communities. We need to find ways to integrate these traditions into urban life, whether through education, cultural events, or family practices. Our cultural heritage is a vital part of our identity, and losing it would mean losing a significant part of who we are as Kenyans.
